Ellis

Hello! My name is Tasia Ellis and I am a veteran teacher of twelve years crafting my skills while teaching Social Studies grades 9-12. For the past six years I have spent my time at Locust Grove High School teaching AP Human Geography, World History, United Stated History, AP Government and Economics. I have also fulfilled a leadership position serving as department chair for the past three years. In addition to department chair I have served as an active member of the project based learning committee, leadership team, and was a member of the HCS Cohort 16 design team.
I look forward to collaborating with teachers as they discover what drives themselves and their students within the personalized learning arena. It’s an exciting time to be an educator in Henry County Schools and I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
While not at work I live on Lake Jackson with my husband Nick, our daughter Graycen, and our Boxer Beauregard. My husband is an assistant principal at Ola High School and our daughter just started kindergarten this year at Ola Elementary. I look forward to peeling back the layers of personalized learning with you as your district personalized learning coach.
