Introduction
Dr. Sonja Hollins-Alexander provides consulting services in the following areas: Comprehensive Professional Learning Needs Assessment, Leadership Coaching and Development, Strategic Planning and Organizational Improvement, Project and Program Management, Stakeholder Communication and Engagement, Budget Planning, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development and Implementation, Facilitation of Adult Learning, Conference Facilitation and Design, Quality Assurance/School Reviews and is fully engaged in the development of Virtual Learning Communities for teachers and leaders and use of Online Collaborative/ Instructional Software.

Education/Credentials/Certification
She has been in the 6ield of education for 24 years with 16 of those being in educational leadership at the school, district and higher education levels. During this time, she has served as a school social worker, teacher, assistant principal, principal, assistant director, director of professional learning and Chief of Staff for DeKalb County School District in Metro Atlanta. She is an adjunct professor in the Education Department at Argosy University chairing and co-charing dissertation committees for doctoral student candidates and has been a Senior Consultant for a National Professional Development 6irm. She is also an Author Consultant and a Visible Learning Certi6ied Trainer through Corwin.

Strenghs
She is the author of “Online Professional Development through Virtual Learning Communities” - Corwin Press (2013). She has presented at numerous National Conferences on this and other educational related topics. She is the principal partner for Alexander Consulting and has engaged in consulting work with Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County Schools, Corwin Press Publishers, the Council of Chief State School Of6icers and Insight Education Group.
