Lisa Manross

Introduction
Hi! I'm Lisa Manross and I have two boys, ages 15 and 11. My husband and I are educators and live in Henry County, which makes the education system very personal to us. I have had the pleasure of working in the educational field for 15 years. I worked in the middle school setting for two years and then transitioned to elementary school where I have most of my experience. Over the years, I have served on various committees such as the STEAM and new teacher mentor committees, the leadership team, school council, and I was the professional development coordinator for my school. Prior to beginning my doctoral classes, I was an adjunct professor at Mercer University in the area of early childhood education. I am passionate about innovative teaching. I constantly look for ways to improve my craft and thrive on integrating technology as a true tool for learning. I believe students should be allowed the time to learn and develop at their own pace, have a voice in their education, and work towards being self-motivated.
